WHY ME OVER ALL THE COMPETITON OUT HERE IN NEW YORK?

You've read some of my extensive career in the long term, assisted living, hospital and senior care industry. 

I started out in the 90's as an aide, housekeeper, and through continued years of education and work experience in the industry, I rapidly moved up the career ladder in management, directorship, and executive leadership, with my last 7 years in nursing home administration, being licensed by NYS as their Nursing Home Administrator of Record.

In addition, I'm still actively licensed, but now I'm working outside the big nursing homes and senior housing arena. 

With years of inside experience, I certainly know all the ins and outs, the behind-the-scenes issues families deserve to know so their loved ones are placed in a safe environment.  So again, why me?

I know... there are plenty of franchised senior care companies whose owners come from many different career backgrounds who've decided to invest in companion services franchises for whatever reasons, and then there are those other 75% of my competition where many  owners have had a couple of so years working in the industry but not so deep in the industry  as I have for decades now, or even some who were motivated to start a senior assistance company after caring for their loved ones. 

And I get it. I sympathize with them because I also had my mom with dementia who was cared for at her home, placed in assisted living and then I took her into my own nursing home to be with her until she passed last May of 24.  I'm a friendly competitor, but my extensive leadership skills and knowledge of how this ever-evolving industry works in enriched in my wisdom to provide a well thought out plan from my consultation services

So yes, I know.  I'm 100% passionate in this industry, so much so, I fought my fear and anxiety to leave a full-time career and to take the leap into owning my own company and therefore here I am. I started Day to Day to continue loving what I do, but now I have an outside company to provide assistance for families and their loved ones.
