WHY ME ...OVER ALL THE COMPETITION OUT HERE IN NEW YORK?

You've read some of my extensive experience in the long-term care, assisted living, hospital, and senior care industries. 

I started in the 1990s as a housekeeper and care aide. Through years of education and work experience in the industry, I rapidly advanced up the career ladder in management, directorship, and executive leadership, with my last seven years in nursing home administration, during which I was licensed by NYS as their Nursing Home Administrator of Record.

In addition, while I remain actively licensed, I'm now working outside the large nursing home and senior housing arena to assist families with their loved ones in what many feel is just overwhelming-complex navigational barriers with regards healthcare and placement services. 

With years of inside experience, I'm well-versed in all aspects, including the behind-the-scenes issues that families should be aware of, so their loved ones are placed in a safe environment.  So again, why me?

I know... There are numerous franchised senior care companies whose owners come from diverse career backgrounds, having chosen to financially invest in companion service franchises for various reasons. Then there are the other 75% of my competition, where many owners have had a couple of years or so working in the industry but not as deeply entrenched in it as I have been for decades now, or even some who were motivated to start a senior assistance company after caring for their loved ones, but have never been entrenched for as long as I have in the industry.

And I get it. I sympathize with them because I also had my mom with dementia who was cared for at her home and placed in assisted living, until the time came that she was in need of higher care, and so I took her into my own nursing home to be with her until she passed last May 2024.  I'm a friendly competitor, but my extensive leadership skills and knowledge of how this ever-evolving industry works is enriched in my wisdom which allows me to provide a well-thought-out plan for you, and this will be just one of many processes we will work to obtain from my consultation services for you.

So yes, I know.  I'm 100% passionate about this industry, so much so that I fought my fear and anxiety to leave a full-time career and take the leap into owning my own company, and here I am. I started Day to Day Senior Care to continue loving what I've done for so long, but now I have a family-owned company I'm leading that will continue to assist families and their loved ones through the whole process well into the future.
